our planet's journey

As mountains erode, rocks are sent on a journey down the slopes, washing through streams, and resting in river beds where they are polished and fragmented and repolished and moved some more.

Our planet has sent these rocks on a journey, but when you think about their origins you begin to realize that nature is moving mountains.
